The hobbit

ok so the hobbit is not only the first full length book i ever read, its also one of the best.hobbits,wizards,dwarfs,elves,dragons,eagles,men that become bears it truly has it all and in less then 300 pages.

long story short the film has be rumored to be on deck for the past ten years or so.well it just so happens peter jackson has picked it up and the hobbit is finally going to be made into a proper film!!

(my pants are soiled so if you'll excuse me im gonna go change.... but you can enjoy the first video blog released from the set)

Anime ichiban

So for todays dose i really wanted to share with everyone a few animes some new, some old all fantastic... these are the ones that ive gotten the most enjoyment out of for the past few months.

First up we have Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan (Bludgeoning angel Dokuro-chan) this is a rather short anime... actually i think its just an Ova(original video animation)so yea its eight episodes long in 4 two episode chunks.The basic "plot" if you can call it that is an angel from the future
is sent to kill this student because he will in the future halt all female bodies development at a young age (presumably because he is a Lolicon) the angel doesnt want to kill him so she decides to distract him from school work instead.
^^that all being said its a show with a running joke that the angel kills the male lead A LOT. also some pervy stuff for us pervs gets mixed in.^.^

The next anime Ive got for you is my favorite piece of animation airing currently out of japan... if you haven't seen me plug for this on facebook I assume its cuz we arnt FB friends -GOSICK

gosick is i presume a japanese basterization of gothic... which is very fitting as the anime plays out much like one of the many gothic fairy tales mentioned in the show. I really cant put this anime to justice, its beautiful, dark,and at times very funny. If you just watch one anime this year make it gosick.

(also a little tid bit of good news for anyone who has seen gosick and ova bridge series seems to be in the works which means at least one more half season (12 episodes) has been picked up the animation studio bones ...^.^Ya-ta)

BACK IN BIZ

Doms dose is back! and this time it personal >.<

Ive got a lot of things to cover seeing how ive been out of the game for a few months, The winter anime release schedule, Metric tons of new music and of course new internet phenomena. So sit down,and strap into your clockwork orange approved viewing chairs cuz its about to go off!

Lets start things off  with a little dose of new music




This is one of the newest gumi vocaloid tracks. And my god what can I say.... its bubbly,fun,and energetic in a way that only japanese things seem to be.

next we seriously jump genres and move into blackalicious.As always Blackalicious gives us a refreshing reprieve from the Geto blasting ho hurting rap that seems to always flood the main stream. If anyone has the gift of gab it is Tim parker. I know this track isnt new but it blows my mind on every spin.



Then finally we have MOVITS a swedish fusion group of hip hop and jazz swing. An interesting combination that works on more levels then i can describe, if you havent checked these guys out srysly give them a listen. their new album "out of my head" hit the US on april 5th (so now really is a great time to get into these guys!)
