Four score and 14 years ago Way back in 1998 I as a seven year old boy discovered a place. This place was so magical that it would go on to Mold me into the young man you know. This was the cartoon network programming block known as Toonami!
Toonmai introduced me (and many of my generation) to Anime with adult themes, Music, and Idea's that most Adults might have thought far above our cognitive ability to understand. How wrong they were.
On April 1st 2012 Cartoon network Brought back Toonami as an April fools joke, Little did they realize that the internet took notice and would not just be satisfied with one night. So began the petitions And tweets, #bringbacktoonami was even trending in the US for a period. We all hoped it would be enough but secretly knew it wouldn't be.
But for once we were wrong!
Cartoon Network has Heard us and intends to bring back Toonami. SO REJOICE my friends some day soon your host T.O.M. will be steering his ship through the stars once more, bring you quality programming!!
